Our Process
01
Initial Consultation (Free)
Schedule a 30-minute call with Dean. He’ll ask about your business goals, current marketing challenges, and any specific concerns (e.g. “I want more local leads” or “Why did my conversions drop?”). This is also your chance to ask Dean anything. By the end of the call, you’ll both confirm that an audit is the right move for you. (No hard sell, no obligation.)
02
Audit Deep-Dive
If you agree to proceed after the call, Dean rolls up our sleeves and gets to work. This process typically takes about a week for a thorough job – because real analysis can’t be fully automated. Dean might reach out with a few quick questions during this phase.
03
Report & Recommendations
We’ll walk you through the priority fixes and improvements, from quick wins to critical issues. No fluff, no vague jargon. You’ll know exactly what to do next, whether by your own dev team or with Dean’s further help.
04
Next Steps and Support
After the audit, it’s your call how to proceed. You can take the recommendations and run with them in-house – or, if you’d like continued assistance, Dean can discuss ongoing consulting or hands-on help to execute the fixes.
If you suspect your website could be converting more visitors into customers, you’re probably right. The average website converts only about 2–3% of its visitors – meaning roughly 97 out of 100 potential customers leave without taking action. Our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) service focuses on turning those lost opportunities into revenue through scientific A/B testing and UX improvements. Instead of simply pouring more budget into ads for extra traffic, we help you maximise the value of the traffic you already have. We dig into your site’s data to uncover why visitors aren’t converting and then systematically test targeted design and content tweaks to fix it. Whether you run an eCommerce store, a SaaS product site, or a lead-generation business, our CRO service delivers a tailored action plan to boost your conversions and make every click count.
Common Conversion Killers We Fix
Confusing layout or navigation: Visitors who can’t find what they need instantly will leave—no questions asked. We streamline menus, simplify page structure, and ensure every click brings them closer to purchase.
Weak call-to-action or messaging: Vague buttons and unclear value propositions confuse visitors. We test different headlines, button labels, and micro-copy to find the exact phrasing that compels action.
Forms or checkout issues: Long, clunky forms and hidden errors kill conversions. We identify form-field drop-off points and test shorter flows, inline validation, and one-page checkouts to reduce abandonment.
Funnel drop-offs: From product view → add to cart → checkout, each step leaks potential buyers. We analyse each funnel stage, then A/B test interventions (like exit-intent offers or progress indicators) to plug those leaks and lift overall completion rates.
Landing page optimisation: Your landing pages set the tone for your entire experience. We run experiments on page layouts, hero section designs, copy variations, and CTA placement—measuring not just conversions but also time on site and engagement—to discover the version that resonates best with your audience.
Subtle credibility cues: Instead of shouting “Trust us!” with badges everywhere, we weave in real customer snippets, contextual proof points, and design elements that naturally reassure users. Our tests reveal which subtle cues actually move the needle without overwhelming the page.
It’s impossible to improve what you can’t measure. We first ensure your analytics and tracking are solid:
Measurement Check: We verify that your conversion goals (purchases, sign-ups, etc.) are tracked correctly in Google Analytics (GA4) or other analytics platforms. Any tracking gaps or duplicates are fixed so we have reliable baseline data.
Data Integrity: Are you capturing key user behaviors (clicks, scrolls, bounce rates) that inform CRO? We set up tools like heatmaps or session recordings (e.g. Clarity) to gather qualitative insights. This audit ensures when we run tests, we can accurately measure which version wins.
Goal Alignment: We make sure the conversions we optimise for align with your business objectives. For example, if you care about lead quality over quantity, we’ll factor that into what we measure as a “win” for tests.
2. User Behaviour & UX Analysis
Next, we put on our detective hats to find where and why visitors drop off:
Funnel Examination: We analyse your site’s conversion funnel (for example, product page → cart → checkout for ecommerce, or landing page → form → thank-you for purchase). This pinpoints which step in the journey has the highest abandonment so we know where to focus first.
UX Review: We assess your site’s design and usability on both desktop and mobile. Is the navigation intuitive? Is the page too cluttered or confusing? Are forms user-friendly? We identify any UX issues that could be frustrating your visitors.
Content & Speed Audit: We evaluate whether your messaging is clear and compelling. At the same time, we check page performance – from load times to mobile responsiveness. (Slow speed and poor mobile experience are silent conversion killers.) Any critical findings here will directly inform our test hypotheses.
3. Hypothesis & Test Plan Development
Optimisation is an iterative, scientific process. Based on the data gathered, we craft a tailored testing strategy:
Ideation of Test Hypotheses: We list out what changes could lift your conversion rate. Each hypothesis is grounded in evidence – e.g., “Simplifying the signup form from 5 fields to 3 will increase completions” (if we saw many users drop off at the form step).
Prioritisation: Not all issues are equal. We rank potential tests by impact and feasibility. Quick wins (high impact, low effort changes) are tackled first. For instance, changing a headline or button colour is easy to test, while a complete layout redesign might be scheduled later once simpler tests are done.
Test Design: We determine the appropriate type of test for each hypothesis – A/B (split test), multivariate, or split-URL testing – and define what metrics will define success (click-through rate, conversion rate, average order value, etc.). You’ll see a clear test plan before we execute anything.
4. Variation Design & Implementation
With a plan in place, we move to creating and launching the test(s):
Creative Redesign (Tweaks, Not Rebuilds): We design the variant pages or elements needed for each A/B test. This could involve creating a new version of a landing page section, a different call-to-action button design, alternate copy, or even a reworked page layout – all while staying true to your brand’s look and feel. (Note: We work with your existing design as a foundation – this service is about refining your current pages, not building completely new ones from scratch.)
Tool Setup & Integration: We set up the experiments using a suitable A/B testing platform that works with your site. For example, we might deploy tests via Optimizely, VWO, or AB Tasty – all leading industry tools – or other platform-specific solutions.
Quality Assurance: Before going live, we thoroughly QA the test setup. We ensure the control and variant appear correctly across devices/browsers, tracking is firing, and there’s no “flicker” or lag that would disrupt user experience. Only once everything looks good do we launch the experiment.
5. Experiment Monitoring & Optimisation
Running an experiment isn’t a “set it and forget it” deal – we keep a close eye while the test is live:
Real-Time Monitoring: We watch performance as data comes in. If we detect any anomalies (e.g. one version isn’t loading for some users, or conversion tracking broke), we can pause or fix on the fly. Your users will never be stuck with a broken experience.
Ensuring Statistical Validity: We monitor the test until it reaches a statistically significant result (or enough time passes to gather meaningful data). We won’t jump to conclusions at the first hint of a winner – we make sure the improvement is real and not due to chance.
Duration Adjustments: Based on your traffic, we estimate how long to run the test (often 2–4 weeks for many small-medium sites, but it varies). If needed, we’ll extend or conclude the test at the optimal time, ensuring seasonal or abnormal traffic patterns don’t skew results.
6. Results Analysis & Next Steps
Once a test has concluded, we delve into the results and plan the implementation:
Outcome Analysis: We compare the control vs. variant performance on the agreed metrics, e.g., “Variant B increased conversion rate from 2.5% to 3.0% (a 20% lift) with 95% statistical confidence.” We also analyse secondary metrics (did the average order value change? Did one version perform better on mobile vs desktop?) to glean deeper insights.
Insights & Learnings: Importantly, we interpret why the results came out as they did. Maybe the new headline addressed a key customer concern, or perhaps the simpler layout helped users focus.
Implementation Plan: If a variant won, fantastic – that winning version should be rolled out to all users! We can help implement the changes on your site (often as part of the service, we’ll coordinate with your developers or CMS to make the new design permanent). If the test was inconclusive or the control won, we still gain valuable direction on what your audience responds to, and we’ll adjust our approach.
Ongoing Optimisation: CRO is an ongoing, iterative process. With one test done, we’ll recommend a next test or a refinement to keep improving. Over time, these continuous improvements compound into significantly higher conversion rates. You can engage us for continuous CRO support or take our plan and run with it in-house – we’re flexible.
Who Is This Service For?
Our CRO & A/B Testing service is ideal for:
E-commerce store owners who get plenty of site visitors but fewer sales than expected. If you have traffic (from SEO, ads, social media) that isn’t translating into revenue, we’ll help turn browsers into buyers.
SaaS, tech, or B2B businesses looking to increase sign-ups, demo requests, or lead form submissions. We optimize landing pages and signup flows to convert more of your hard-earned visitors into qualified leads or free-trial users.
Marketing teams running paid ads or SEO. If you’re investing in Google Ads or Facebook/Meta Ads, CRO is a natural next step – it multiplies the ROI of your ad spend by boosting the conversion rate of the traffic you’re already getting. (In fact, we offer this service as an add-on at a 50% discount for our existing Ads management clients – see FAQ below.)
Website owners with moderate to high traffic (thousands of visits per month). A/B testing works best when you have enough visitors to get results quickly. If your site has steady traffic, we can rapidly gather data on what works. (Even if your traffic is lower, we can still do CRO via best practices and longer test durations – it just requires more patience.)
Anyone who wants data-backed decisions about website changes. Instead of guessing or following HIPPO (Highest Paid Person’s Opinion), you get empirical evidence on which design or copy approach actually performs better with your audience.
If any of the above sounds like you, CRO can be a game-changer. Rather than redesigning your site based on instincts, let your users show you what they prefer – and enjoy the uplift in conversions.

How long does an A/B test or CRO project take?
A full CRO engagement typically spans 4–6 weeks. We start with a 1–2 week audit and planning phase, set up the test in a few days, then run the experiment for 2–4 weeks to gather reliable data.
To balance speed and confidence, we choose our statistical thresholds by test impact:
95% confidence for critical funnel steps (checkout, signup)
85% confidence for medium-impact tweaks (layout, copy)
60% confidence for quick exploratory tests (button color, minor copy)
Do I need a lot of traffic for A/B testing to work?
Higher traffic speeds up reaching statistical significance, but tests can still succeed on moderate-traffic sites—just over a longer period.
10K+ visits/month: 95% CI in ~2 weeks
5–10K visits: 85% CI in ~3–4 weeks
<5K visits: 60% CI or combine with qualitative insights (session recordings, surveys)
Will you implement the winning changes on my site?
We don’t just hand over a report—we help make it live:
Minor tweaks (text edits, button colours, CSS) Dean often implements directly—no extra dev cost.
Larger updates (new page sections, major layout shifts) we coordinate with your dev team or CMS and provide step-by-step guidance.
And of course, if we roll out a winning change permanently, we make sure it’s implemented cleanly (often boosting SEO via faster load and improved UX).
Does this service include designing a brand-new landing page?
Our CRO service refines and optimises your existing pages - no ground-up page builds (we can do it but it will involve addtional hours with our designer). We tweak your current landing page’s design and copy for rapid improvements, leveraging your brand assets. If you need a fully new page, we can scope that separately.
Can I add CRO to my current Ads or SEO package?
Absolutely. In fact, many of our Google Ads and Meta Ads clients choose to add on CRO to amplify their ad ROI. We offer this at a 50% reduced rate for existing ads management clients. The reasoning is simple: if we’re driving traffic to your site through ads, it makes sense to ensure your site is primed to convert that traffic. By bundling CRO with your ads service, you save on costs and we can work holistically on your marketing funnel (ads + landing page) for better overall results. If you’re an existing client, just ask us about adding CRO – it’s a seamless integration with what we’re already doing for you.
Do you also test mobile apps?
Our CRO expertise is focused on websites (desktop & mobile web). We do not run experiments on native iOS/Android apps—web & PWA optimisations only.
Ready to turn more of your visitors into customers? Our data-driven CRO & A/B Testing service gives you the blueprint to higher conversions and greater ROI on all your marketing efforts. Whether you want a one-time conversion audit or ongoing optimization support, we’re here to help. Let’s unlock your website’s full revenue potential. 🚀
