Which Eye Massager Is the Best for You

In the age of technology and advancement, taking care of one's eyes has become crucial. Millions of people have frequent complaints regarding eyestrains. In my previous article regarding eye strains and their treatment, I've highlighted that your lifestyle is the primary cause of eye strains. The constant exposure to digital devices, reading, deep focusing, bright light, and other common factors lead to eye strain.

Taking care of the eye should be your utmost priority. There are countless ways to treat eye strains. However, eye massaging is one of the efficient and feasible methods. It provides you with effective relief from pressure and tension around the eyes. Moreover, eye massagers help you relieve stress, fatigue, and eyestrain. It also improves your eyesight and eye condition.

Many new eye massager brands have been introduced to the marketplace in recent years. According to my research, the most prevalent eye brands in the Australian market are Renpho, Desleep, Breo, and Lifepro. Lately, they have been the talk of the town.

This article talks about the eye massagers in the Australian market with a product comparison. Then, we'll dive deeper into these products' features and superior qualities and unveil the best product that will add value to your money and interest. Moreover, if you want to know about eye massagers' customer feedback(from my friend & my mum), stick to the very end.

TL;DR Renpho Vs. Desleep Vs. Breo Vs. Lifepro

Due to constant eye strain and eye fatigue, the blood vessels under your eyes appear on the skin's surface, leading to dark circles and eye bags that might flaw your pretty face.

Moreover, you're under eyes have begun to swell, and you look weary and tired. The air compression will be able to reduce the puffiness and dark circles of your eyes.

These rechargeable and portable devices supply sufficient heatwaves and slow movements to relieve eye strain. Once they contact your eyes, the massager utilises the air compression bags to aerate and deaerate in oscillation rhythm. You might be unaware, but your eyes have ten acupressure points that hold strain and pressure. To release them, the eye massager uses the oscillatory motion so that you get rid of the tension from these points.

By massaging your CuanZhu/ SiZhuKong/ Temple/ ChengQi/ JingMing acupoint, you get your eyes fully relaxed after a long day of work or study

Price Comparison

When comparing the prominent features, I've discovered that Lifepro and Breo had almost the same but jaw-dropping prices, $232 and $229. Therefore, they are the most expensive brands.

However, Renpho and Desleep are both relatively cheaper than Lifepro and Breo. Renpho eye massager costs only $59.99, while the Desleep eye massager costs $63.7. According to reviews and ratings, Desleep and Renpho are cheaper yet better in every aspect.

Product Features and Safety

Considering the features of the eye massager, I have to say there was a considerable little to no gap between their features regarding their price. However, despite being the cheapest brand, Renpho, had up to five activation modes, just like others.

Renpho & Desleep have clearly stated that their acupressure aims to massage your guan zhu/Sizhukong/temple/Chengqi/Jingming acupoints, while Bero iSee and Lifepro missed this part in their description. Unfortunately, this makes it hard to identify the scientific evidence behind these two products.

When using the Renpho eye massager, the device's control buttons were highly sensitive and reacted to slight touch.

The inner surface that comes in contact with our eyes is made with comfortable soft leather, tested safe and secure by SGS. With five choices of intensities, it was very feasible to adjust to the mode I wanted and was the most suitable for me.

I could choose depending on my preference. But, most of the time, I enjoyed air compression, heat, and music together, as I wanted a quick and all-in-one relief for my eye strains without the annoying vibration.

My mum said DeSleep is excellent apart from two things:

  1. First, she feels a bit noisy, and it's a bit challenging to concentrate while sleeping. And, of course, it annoys my dad.
  2. Second, the strap lock is pushing against her head when lying upfront.

Testing Breo wasn't a WOW experience - even though I spent $229, I got the same effectiveness as Renpho. So, I had to give this category's win to Renpho for providing the same functionalities at a low price.

Mechanism and Battery Lifespan

While writing this eye massager product review, I paid close attention to their functionalities and working processes. All the products work through the mechanism of air compression, heat waves, and vibration. While there aren't any significant differences, some nuanced differences will impact your user experience:

  • Battery lifespan: while it only takes around 2 hours to charge, Bero is less energy-efficient and might run out of battery quicker than others. This means you will have to constantly remember to charge.
  • Heat Compression: While the temperature works fine for me. There are some complaints regarding insufficient heat towards Bero iSee & Lifepro brand.
  • Smells: When I opened the package of Bero iSee there was a strong chemical smell.
  • Noise: While working on the testing, I found comfort and relaxation in getting eye massages from all the products. However, I found the sound & music coming from Bero iSee unbearably noisy. Similar complaints can be found here.
  • Arc Design: Renpho's arc design doesn't have the high cheekbone in mind. Every time it massages my temple area, it bends a gap between the device and my eyes. That gap & the temple compression eventually pushes the device to move towards your forehead area. What does it mean? It carries the air compression from the acupoints right onto my eyes – trust me, it's not comfortable. So I have to use my hand to move it down from time to time. Like Renpho, Desleep's headband strap pokes against the back of your head when lying down.

Additional Accessories and Characteristics

All four products come with the necessities, like a USB charger, a user manual, and a warranty card. An additional accessory in Breo was a travel bag to promote portability. Apart from the soft and comfortable leather protein, which comes in contact with your eyes, the exterior of the ear massager is made up of ABS and PU. All the companies feature various designs and colours. So you can have your pick based on your preference.

Moreover, Renpho was comparatively heavy than others, so it slipped from my nose occasionally. The rest was all good.

Added Value

Before purchasing these products, I surfed the internet, and something caught me off guard. Renpho was ranked as the best-selling eye massager on Amazon in USA and AU. Also, it had a 2-years warranty which adds value to your money. On a side note, Lifepro has a lifetime warranty – it shows how confident this company is in its product.

Awards and Brand Trust Worthiness

With its amazing pricing, Renpho has more than 10K happy customers with a score of 4.4/5. However, the most rated product is Desleep, with around 4.9 stars reviews.

On top of it, I've found out that, Renpho is the most prevalent eye massager in the entire AU & USA because of its practical functionalities, durability, and low price. Renpho's 30-day trial period is also considered an exceptional service.

Finally, I want to highlight that Bero iSee has FDA registered, but I can't find any record for other brands.

Customer Reviews

I surfed several review-based articles about Renpho that almost resulted in favour of the product. Plus, while reading them, it was necessary to highlight fewer to no complaints about it.

On the other hand, as the other brands were expensive, customers expected more. Customers emphasised the un-friendly nose-resistor of Desleep, the super noisiness of Breo, and the heat instability of the Lifepro.

Even though Renpho only had the most common complaint, it wasn't the most suitable brand for people with high cheekbones, which is negligible because of its low price.

Before buying these products, I made sure to do some research. As a matter of fact, I'm not a fan of hyped-up brands. For marketing purposes, companies try featuring their products as the best of all, which turns out to be a lie most of the time.

So, I justly tested these products to collect solid evidence and facts to ensure I don't miss out and misguide anyone. Also, I was highly strict while testing Renpho, as it was the most popular one. But it turns out that all the hype was true.

My friends POV on Renpho Eye massager

One of my closest friends, Sara, has been doing night shifts for almost a year now. She always complained about sleep and tired eyes due to that. That's when I got the idea of gifting her the Renpho eye massager that I have been using myself for some time now.

It was one of the best Christmas gifts she has ever received (her words, not mine). So I asked her to share the experience with the Renpho Eye massager. Let's see what she has to say about it.

Sara, Sharing Her Experience with Renpho Eye Massager

My great friend, who deeply cared for me and gifted me this eye massager, is undoubtedly an angel. I have been doing night shifts for almost a year now, and deep sleep is something I only dream of. However, not many people care about it.

I was overjoyed by such a thoughtful gift when I got this eye massager, even when I didn't use it once. However, it entirely changed my life when I started using this magical product. It might sound like an exaggeration to some people, but believe me, it is the best thing ever.

The eye massager's five different activation modes and comfortable leather helped my eyes a lot. In addition, the massage process literally soothed me. Nothing could have been better than enjoying this massager after a long day at work.

I have been using this massager for almost five months now, and it has never bothered me with any glitches so far. Its battery life is also pretty impressive, and thank God I don't have to charge it every other day because I am so lazy when it comes to charging stuff.

Since the eye massager is adjustable, I sometimes share it with my mom to help her relax after her harrowing day at the job. The eye massager is undoubtedly one of the best products I have used in a long time. It is also portable, which makes my long shifts bearable. I use it in between breaks to recharge myself.

I will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a little extra on health and eye care. This eye massager is definitely worth the money. Its benefits outweigh the price in more ways than one can imagine.

Don't think twice before buying this heavenly product. The soothing massages and relaxation it provides will make you fall in love. Everything about this eye massager is exceptional and worthy. Since it comes with a 2-year warranty, you don't have to worry about going wrong with it either.
